Accreditation

Michigan State University is a member of the National Association of State Universities and Land Grant Colleges, Association of American Universities, American Council on Education, American Council of Learned Societies, Association of Graduate Schools, Council of Graduate Schools, Committee on Institutional Cooperation, and International Association of Universities. The university has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Some individual programs, schools and colleges have been recognized by the accrediting agencies in their respective fields.
